STEADY: 'I'LL BE THERE!'

GARRY Stead has vowed to attend his benefit meeting at Sheffield on Thursday (7.15pm).

Stead, the former Hull man, was paralysed in a crash earlier this season and a host of star riders have agreed to race.

Stead said: "Attending this meeting is a big step for me, one I am looking forward to and I know it will be an emotional occasion for us all but we are going to have a great night.”
