SHEFFIELD Speedway have received another boost ahead of their step-up to the Premiership in 2020.

PlanCon, who have been heat sponsors at Owlerton in recent seasons, have agreed to become official team partners in an exciting move for both parties.

The Sheffield based construction consultancy provides Pre-Construction, Contract and Post-Contract support to main contractors on commercial, high-rise residential, highways, hotel and retail projects across the UK.

And owner Rob Howe, who has been a Tigers supporter since the age of seven, is delighted to be getting even more involved as the club eagerly anticipate the return of top-flight Speedway.

“We are proud to be able grow our association with Sheffield Speedway and see the Tigers as the perfect platform for us to raise our profile across the country,” Howe said.

“To be in a position to have our business associated with Sheffield Speedway is a dream come true.

The prospect of watching a triple World Champion at Owlerton next season has added to Rob’s excitement.
