STEAD ENCOURAGED BY TEAM BONDING

Thursday April 09, 2020
SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead reckons his team will benefit from team bonding sessions last month.

The Tru Plant Tigers riders' and management spent two days together in March as they ramped up their preparations for the 2020 campaign.

Stead was encouraged by the atmosphere and spirit within the group and says it bodes well for when racing can get underway.

"Of course some of the boys already knew each other but it's important everyone knows one another and feels part of the group," Stead said.

"It was a good get together before the season and I’m sure we’ll benefit from it as a group and as a team once the racing gets underway.

"Who knows when we’ll get the green light to go racing but when we do, we’ll all have to jump into it more-or-less straight away and we’ll have to manage the season accordingly."

Stead speaks in more detail in Issue 2 of the club's 'Tiger Talk' season delay programme.

It also features an exclusive interview with new boy Jack Holder as well as a look back on Sheffield's proud history in the retro section plus much more.

It costs just £2.25 plus P+P and can be ordered now online from curtis-sport.com
