SHEFFIELD Speedway understands that James Birkinshaw, Redcar's intended guest for tonight's meeting at Owlerton, will not be able to ride.
Both Birkinshaw and Kyle Legault, current Tigers assets, crashed when riding for their current club Birmingham in their win over Rye House last night.
It's been reported that James has bad bruising in his left ribs and shoulder and Kyle has suffered a broken femur. Our best wishes go to both.
At this moment in time, the management of Sheffield Speedway have still received no communication from a representative of Redcar Speedway regarding the absence of James Grieves, the booking of Birkinshaw and consequently his withdrawal. We have had to predict the Redcar line-up for the accuracy of our racecard.
