TIGERS UP FOR THE CUP AT FULL STRENGTH

Wednesday April 09, 2008
SHEFFIELD are back at full strength as they go up for the cup against rivals Scunthorpe at Owlerton on Thursday (7.45pm).

Reserve Lee Smethills is back after a two-week absence with a foot injury as Sheffield look to beat their neihgbours for the third time this season.

They've already been successful in home and away Premier Trophy clashes last month - but team manager Eric Boocock is warning his side to avoid complacency.

"We were superb in beating them at the start of the season but that means very little now," said the former England chief. "We've got to concentrate on building a big lead up at home in the first leg before going to Scunthorpe on Friday."

The Scorpions include Tigers assets Richard Hall, Andrew Moore and Benji Compton who are all expected to score well at their former home.

Sheffield have agreed to return to Redcar this Saturday at 6pm for the re-arranged Premier Trophy tie.

TIGERS: Ricky Ashworth, Joel Parsons, Andre Compton, Paul Cooper, Ben Wilson, Sam Martin, Lee Smethills.
SCUNTHORPE: Magnus Karlsson, Carl Wilkinson, Andrew Moore, Viktor Bergstrom, Richard Hall, Byron Bekker, Benji Compton.
