SHEFFIELD FIXTURE UPDATE

Tuesday September 13, 2022
SHEFFIELD can confirm that their scheduled home clash against Ipswich on Monday, September 19 has been postponed.

It follows the British Speedway Promoters’ Ltd announcement that no fixtures will take place on that date out of respect to the Royal Family with the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II taking place earlier that same day.

The Tru Plant Tigers can still finish top of the Premiership table ahead of the play-offs though if they win both of their remaining meetings at Owlerton against King’s Lynn (Thursday, September 15, 7.30) and Belle Vue (Thursday, September 22, 7.30).

Any supporters who purchased the ‘September Savings’ package in advance online before the Ipswich cancellation will still be able to gain admission for those two fixtures with a further announcement to follow in due course.

Meanwhile, Sheffield Speedway Season Ticket Holders 1-53 will receive their Centre Green Experience this Thursday - and will receive full details upon arrival at the track.
