KIDS FOR A QUID AT OWLERTON

Tuesday November 29, 2022
SHEFFIELD have reintroduced their 'kids for a quid' scheme for the 2023 season.

It comes after club bosses listened to the feedback of some supporters who want to be able to continue their family nights out at Owlerton in what is shaping up to be another exciting Premiership campaign for the Tru Plant Tigers.

Co-promoter Damien Bates said: "When you make changes to what people are used to, you're never going to please everybody.

"But instantly, there were a lot of comments about the increase to the admission prices for supporters Under-16.

"So as a management team, we arranged a call and all quickly came to the decision that we should actually reintroduce the kids for a quid offer for next season.

"It's something we tried at the back end of this year and it proved very popular with a lot of new junior supporters experiencing live Speedway for the very first time.

"So hopefully that will be the case again throughout the course of 2023 - these kids are the future of our sport and family nights out at Owlerton mean a lot to a lot of people in Sheffield."

A reminder that Season Tickets remain available online via http://www.sheffield-speedway.com/ticketoffice.

But they can also be purchased in person from the Speedway Office at Owlerton this coming Saturday (December 3) between 12 noon and 2pm.
