MONDAY PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v TIGERS

Sunday March 26, 2023
SHEFFIELD head to Belle Vue on Monday (March 27, 7.30) for their first away fixture of the season.

The two sides met in South Yorkshire on Thursday where the Tru Plant Tigers got their campaign off to a winning start with a 48-42 success over the reigning Champions.

And with the reintroduced aggregate point also back up for grabs for the first time, team boss Simon Stead is expecting another competitive War of the Roses clash in Manchester.

"Every single point becomes even more important now," Stead said.

"We ironed out a few little things on opening night and the boys can head to Belle Vue feeling pretty confident after how they rode on Thursday.

"Let's go there and give a good account of ourselves and see where we are at the end of the night."

Sheffield have shuffled their riding order slightly with captain Kyle Howarth moving to No.2 and David Bellego now at No.4 alongside Adam Ellis.

BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Charles Wright, Brady Kurtz, Tom Brennan, Jake Mulford.

SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Kyle Howarth, Adam Ellis, David Bellego, Tobiasz Musielak, Lewis Kerr, Dan Gilkes.
