SHEFFIELD No.1 Tobiasz Musielak is expecting a couple of 'amazing meetings' when they take on Wolverhampton in the Sports Insure Premiership Knockout Cup.

The Tru Plant Tigers host the first leg of the Semi-Final at Owlerton tonight (Thursday, June 8, 7.30) with the decider at Wolves' Monmore Green Stadium on Monday, June 19.

Both Clubs head into the tie on the back of impressive away wins in the league last week - and Musielak, who started his British Speedway career with Wolverhampton, reckons supporters are in for a treat when the sides go head-to-head.

“As a team, we really want to win the Cup again this year,” he said.

“Before we can even think about that and the Final though, we have to think about Wolverhampton.

“I think it will be an absolutely amazing meeting over the two legs.

“Wolverhampton are such a great team, especially at home, but they also have riders who can score big points away.

“We know it will not be easy, but we know what we can do if we focus so let’s hope we can get the result we want over both meetings.”
