SHEFFIELD and Scunthorpe are to share joint participation in the National Development League – a combination which won the title back in 2011.

The team will operate as the Sheffield Prowlers when they race at Owlerton and the Scunthorpe Stags for fixtures which take place at the Eddie Wright Raceway with home meetings split between the two venues.

Current Scorpions captain Simon Lambert is keen to be involved on the management side and has been co-ordinating putting the team together with announcements to be made in due course.
