THREE Sheffield stars are involved in the 2024 Australian Championships which get underway on Thursday (January 4).

Tru Plant Tigers No.1 Jack Holder is the defending Champion and will be looking to retain his title over the five round senior solo series.

Jack’s brother Chris will be looking to add a sixth Aussie Champs honour to his name whilst Josh Pickering is bidding to lift the national trophy for the very first time.

The five rounds come thick and fast and will be held at different venues over the space of 10 days.

The overall top four will bag themselves a place in the Grand Prix qualifying rounds later this year whilst a further spot will be available from the FIM Oceania Championship which takes place at the end of January.

ROUND 3 - Tuesday, January 9 - Albury-Wodonga
ROUND 4 - Thursday, January 11 - Mildura
ROUND 5 - Saturday, January 13 - Gillman
