SHEFFIELD Tigers Speedway team are expected to be at full strength for their Premier Trophy Semi-Final tie with Birmingham at Perry Barr on Wednesday (7.45pm).

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side have a golden opportunity to book their place in a major final with the second leg at Owlerton Stadium on Thursday.

Sam Martin should return from injury for Eric Boocock's side - but Birmingham will be without Adam Roynon who has a broken leg and Phil Morris who is recovering from a dislocated shoulder.

Boocock said: "Our priority is to keep the scores as close as we can at Birmingham for the return at Sheffield.

"We know Graham Drury will have his riders wound up. They'll be ready to take us on, particularly with our old mate James Birkinshaw at reserve who I'm sure would love to put one oevr us.

"We cannot afford to feel sorry for Birmingham and their injury problems. Quite simply, we have to focus on ourselves and do the job to the best of our abilty. I expect two close meetings over the next couple of nights."

BIRMINGHAM: Adam Roynon R/R, Chris Mills, Jason Lyons, Lee Smart, Craig Watson, Jack Hargreaves, James Birkinshaw.
SHEFFIELD: Ricky Ashworth, Joel Parsons, Andre Compton, Paul Cooper, Ben Wilson, Sam Martin, Lee Smethills.
