IPSWICH HOME FIXTURE REARRANGED

Saturday August 30, 2025
SHEFFIELD’S final regular home league fixture with Ipswich has been rearranged for this coming Wednesday (September 3, 7.30pm).

It means the clash between the top two at Owlerton will still take place ahead of the cut-off date next week which now has three fixtures with the Tru7 Group Tigers away at King’s Lynn on Monday (September 1, 7.30pm) and away at Ipswich next Thursday (September 4, 7.30pm).

Supporters who obtained their re-admission tickets from Thursday’s postponement can use them at this Wednesday’s home fixture ONLY.

If anyone has difficulty in attending the restaging date, supporters should e-mail re-admission ticket details and bank details to office@sheffield-speedway.com and refunds will be issued in due course.

Anyone who purchased Issue 14 of ‘Tiger Talk’, the official racenight programme of Sheffield Speedway on Thursday, is kindly asked to bring that to the track with them and you will be given a free, updated insert at the programme stand upon entry.

Premiership CEO Phil Morris said: "I'd like to thank the clubs for their co-operation in organising a new date for this meeting before the cut-off.

"Thursday's postponement was extremely unfortunate and my thanks to Sheffield for responding proactively to get the fixture back on the calendar ahead of the play-offs."
