SHEFFIELD get their ROWE Motor Oil Premiership campaign underway with a trip to King’s Lynn on Monday (April 27, 7.30pm).
It’s the first of 20 league fixtures as the Tigers aim to finish in the top four and seal an end-of-season play-off place for a sixth straight year.
The Owlerton outfit missed out on a place in the Premiership Knockout Cup Final when they suffered a narrow defeat at Leicester on Thursday.
And boss Simon Stead now wants his side to grow collectively as they kickstart their league programme.
“Looking down the scorechart, we need to get our reserves firing pretty quick,” Stead said.
“It’s still very early days though and there’s plenty we can build on.
“King’s Lynn is another tough place to go and they’ve got a really nice line-up this year.
“But it’s somewhere we’ve proven to go very well at in the past and I want us to go there all guns blazing and give ourselves a very good chance.”
The Tigers are at full strength whilst the hosts operate Rider Replacement for Paco Castagna who was involved in a scary crash at Edinburgh on Friday.
