SHEFFIELD will complete the season with a challenge match against an Owlerton Outlaws Select team on Thursday, October 16 (7.45pm).


The meeting will be retiring skipper Andre Compton's final appearance in Sheffield colours and will feature all of the regular Sheffield Window Centre Tigers team.

The Outlaws, who will be backed by Bradfield Brewery, will be captained by James Birkinshaw. Full team news will be available early next week but Lee Complin and Richard Hall are two other track specialists who have already accepted bookings.

The meeting will also include the successful format trialed earlier this campaign whereby a team six-points in arrears can select any gate positions for subsequent races whilst they have that deficit.

After the racing has concluded, the evening will be rounded off with Sheffield's traditional end-of-season firework display.
