SHEFFIELD Tigers have revealed Elite League glamour club Wolverhampton as their opening night opponents at Owlerton on March 15.

The Black Country side have already confirmed Swedes Fredrik Lindgren and Magnus Karlsson in their starting line-up for the March 15 encounter alongside former British under-21 champion David Howe.

It's sure to be a tough test for the Owlerton men as Wolverhampton pay their first visit since the two leagues were amalgamated in 1996.

Tigers owner Neil Machin said: "This is a wonderful way for us to start the season and we're delighted to welcome Wolverhampton.

"They've consistently been one of the top clubs in the sport over the past 20-years and the team they're bringing to us will really stretch us, which is what it's all about."
