ANDRE Compton has confirmed he has had a change of heart – and wants to carry on racing.

The former Sheffield skipper will ride in the Ozchem Classic at Owlerton on March 15 and the Ben Fund Bonanza a fortnight later. He will also appear in Birmingham’s opening meeting on March 18.

He said: “My biggest regret about retiring in October was that it’s cost me my place at Sheffield.”
