FORMER Sheffield skipper Carl Stonehewer has joined the impressive line-up for the Ozchem Classic at Owlerton on March 15 (6pm).

Stonehewer had one season with the Tigers in 1998 before moving to Workington. He will double-up between Redcar and Poole this year.

He said: “I love it at Sheffield and the meeting is in memory of my good friend Darren Boocock so I’m only too pleased to ride.”
