SHEFFIELD have unveiled the full line-up for the eagerly awaited Ozchem Classic at Owlerton Stadium on Sunday, March 15 (6pm).

World champions Greg Hancock and Jason Crump top the bill for the event which celebrates the memory of the club’s close friends Darren and Sharon Boocock. In addition the meeting is Sheffield’s 80th anniversary event.

Sheffield Ozchem Legends feature past and present Owlerton stars including former skippers Andre Compton and Carl Stonehewer and Elite League stars Rory Schlein of Coventry and Wolverhampton’s Tai Woffinden.

American newcomer Ricky Wells joins Swindon’s Australian ace Travis McGowan and Polish star Karol Zabik to complete the Rest of the World side.

Sheffield owner Neil Machin, a close friend of the Boocock family, said: “This is the perfect way to launch our season and I’m sure the terraces will be packed.

“We’ve put out two evenly matched teams and in Zabik we’ve booked the guy who won the World Under-21 round here a couple of years ago.”
