COACH TRAVEL FOR SKY MATCH
Tuesday April 21, 2009
SHEFFIELD fans can travel to Scunthorpe in style for next month’s Sky Sports meeting.
The Owlerton side are planning to run free coaches after a terrific gesture from team sponsor Ian Hunter of Sheffield Window Centre.
Admission has already been slashed to just £5 for adults at the Eddie Wright Raceway and under 16s will be admitted free.
Tigers fans will be able to book their seats by paying their fiver in advance at Sheffield’s meetings over the next two Thursdays.
Said boss Neil Machin: “We want to make this one of the noisiest Sky meetings between two teams and also show what the Premier League is all about.
“It’s a great gesture from Ian and we hope to take at least four or five coaches up the M18. It should make for a tremendous atmosphere.”
Tickets can be booked at a special desk next to the Owlerton track shop.
