COMPLIN IN FOR DIAMONDS

Thursday June 04, 2009
SHEFFIELD asset Lee Complin returns to Owlerton as a guest for Newcastle in tonight's Premier Trophy clash (7.45pm).

Complin, who is on loan to Stoke, stands in for the Diamonds' injured No.1 Steve Boxall and will as always be keen to get the better of the Tigers' big guns.

Sheffield themselves hope to be able to return to a full seven-man unit, with both Ricky Ashworth and Josh Auty intending to ride despite being taken to hospital after crashes at King's Lynn on Wednesday.

Both suffered bruising in separate incidents, but thankfully no broken bones, and were discharged on the same evening.

The match also marks the Tigers debut of 18-year-old Australian Hugh Skidmore, and there will be much interest in how he fares.

Newcastle also include captain Jason King, a big scorer at Owlerton last season, and talented young Dane Kenni Larsen.
