SHEFFIELD Tigers face one of their toughest meetings of the season when title favourites King’s Lynn visit Owlerton Stadium on Thursday (7.45).
The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side are in a confident mood after their weekend draw at Berwick – and club owner Neil Machin is predicting a crunch clash between two great rivals.
He said: “The boys are feeling confident and we have to start well against a team like King’s Lynn because they are excellent.
“There seems to be a bit of rivalry there, our supporters keep telling me they would love to see us turn them over so I hope they turn out in big numbers to get right behind us.”
Former Sheffield favourite Emiliano Sanchez, still a club asset on loan to the Norfolk club, returns to Owlerton and Tomas Topinka has been a top performer in the Premier League for 15-years.
But all eyes will be on Darcy Ward who is tipped to become a Grand Prix superstar within the next three seasons.
Tigers are unchanged from the team which pulled off the impressive draw at Berwick.
SHEFFIELD: Ricky Ashworth, Hugh Skidmore, Chris Mills, Richard Hall, Josh Auty, Paul Cooper, Joel Parsons. KING’S LYNN: Darcy Ward, Linus Eklof, Emiliano Sanchez, Chris Schramm, Tomas Topinka, Darren Mallett, Jan Graversen.
