SHEFFIELD gave a stunning display to beat Premier League title favourites King's Lynn 50-40 in thriller at Owlerton on Thursday night.
And they had to do it the hard way after the visitors had put themselves in a commanding position thanks to teenage sensation Darcy Ward and former Sheffield man Emiliano Sanchez.
But in a remarkable turn-around, sparked by a controversial exclusion for Ward, the Sheffield Window Centre-backed side rammed in three 5-1s to take all three points on offer.
Skipper Ricky Ashworth (PICTURED) was top performer for the home side with 13, but it was a solid all-round display which left the big crowd delighted - especially with 18-year-old Hugh Skidmore bagging paid 10 on his league debut, including some stunning passing from the back.
Boss Eric Boocock said: "That was a terrific meeting and a very solid display from our lads. We're naturally delighted."
