SHEFFIELD Speedway can confirm that a full six-heat second half has been arranged at tonight's Young Shield meeting against Rye House.

The second half will feature riders from the touring Team Viking set-up, who have already been involved in entertaining action at several venues over the last week.

They include Lars Daniel Gunnestad, son of former Sheffield rider Lars, and Tigers co-promoter David Hoggart says he is pleased to welcome the tourists.

He said: "We know they were very keen to come here and it's good that we've been able to slot them in. We always have an eye on young riders for the future, and we'll be taking a close look at how they shape up.
