TOP TEAMS IN TROPHY TUSSLE

Tuesday March 27, 2007
SHEFFIELD Tigers face King's Lynn over two nights in a rematch of last year's play-off final.

The Owlerton side go to Norfolk in their opening Premier Trophy clash of the season on Wednesday with the mouthwatering return at Owlerton 24-hours later.

Lynn lifted the title last season after Sheffield were the only team to challenge them - but Tigers skipper Andre Compton, who is unbeaten in 20 races so far this season, is keen to gain revenge.

"We've got two tremendous meetings to look forward to and all the Sheffield riders are well up for it," said Compton.

"King's Lynn deserved their glory last year, but this is a new season and there have been changes to both sides so anything can happen!"

Fans are reminded about the special offer for children under 12 on Thursday with the club offering free admission in a bid to win over the next generation of supporters.

KING'S LYNN: Tomas Topinka, Chris Mills, Daniel Nermark, Trevor Harding, Paul Lee, James Brundle, John Oliver.

TIGERS: Ricky Ashworth, Joel Parsons, Andre Compton, James Cockle, Ben Wilson, James Birkinshaw, Paul Cooper.
