TIGERS STARS VISIT LOCAL HOSPICE

Wednesday October 28, 2009
SHEFFIELD Tigers Speedway stars Josh Auty and Paul Cooper have taken time out of their schedules to visit some of the Tigers most ardent fans, the children of the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice at North Anston near Rotherham.

The pair, accompanied by Co-Promoter David Hoggart and Office Manager Julie Reading, spent an afternoon with the children, parents and staff.

“We have had a really good time, the kids are great fun to be around,” said Auty, whilst Cooper added “I haven’t enjoyed myself so much since I was Josh’s age."

The Tigers management have hosted the children on a weekly basis at Owlerton and are pleased to be supporting Bluebell Wood.

“The hospice, volunteers and children need all the support they can get," said Hoggart.

“It’s a privilege to be able to change their circumstances for just one night a week, the team at Bluebell are to be congratulated on their commitment and dedication at such a wonderful facility."
