JOSH MAKES IT FIVE FOR TIGERS

Thursday November 26, 2009
SHEFFIELD Tigers have made their fifth signing for the 2010 Speedway season after agreeing terms with teenage sensation Josh Auty.

The 19-year-old will be in the Tigers side for a second successive season on loan from Elite League Coventry Bees after making good progress this year.

He joins skipper Ricky Ashworth, Richard Hall, Hugh Skidmore and Paul Cooper in the Premier League side for the new season which starts in March - leaving two places to fill.

Sheffield owner Neil Machin said: "Josh is currently racing in Australia but we managed to tie up a deal despite competition from one or two other tracks.

"He had a solid season with us which would have been much better had he been more prolific out of the gate. But that will come with experience and Josh will look to establish himself as a heat leader next year."
