TIGERS V SCUNTHORPE - THURSDAY, PREVIEW

Thursday March 25, 2010
SHEFFIELD Tigers go in search of their first Premier Trophy points when rivals Scunthorpe visit Owlerton tonight (Thursday, 7.45).

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side saw last night's trip to Birmingham washed out and also lost at Scunthorpe last Friday.

Scorpions bosses have revealed how they arrive at Owlerton in a confident mood, looking to secure an away win.

Said boss Eric Boocock: "We're looking to win this one because we feel we owe Scunthorpe.

"It was disappointing the way the whole meeting was handled last week, but we must now put that behind us and get on with it.

"I see Scunthorpe have been making noises about fancying their chances coming into this meeting. It's up to us to send them away empty handed like they did to us last week."

The meeting sees the first return to Owlerton for Aussie Joel Parsons who was loaned out to the Scorpions in the winter.

SHEFFIELD: Ricky Ashworth, Hugh Skidmore, Richard Hall, Josh Auty, Josef Franc, Arlo Bugeja, Paul Cooper.

SCUNTHORPE: David Howe, Viktor Bergstrom, Joel Parsons, Magnus Karlsson, Carl Wilkinson, Jerran Hart, Simon Lambert.
