TIGERS V KING'S LYNN - THURSDAY, PREVIEW

Wednesday April 28, 2010
SHEFFIELD Tigers are expecting one of the meetings of the season when they face reigning Premier League champions King's Lynn at Owlerton on Thursday (7.45).

The Stars have been the most successful team of the modern era at Premier League level and are sure to push the Sheffield Window Centre-backed Tigers to the limit.

Skipper Paul Cooper said: "It's the kind of meeting where we can't afford any mistakes, we all have to be focussed and on top of our game if we are going to get the better of them.

"And we need our fans to turn out in force and get right behind us. The Sheffield fans have always been brilliant and they make a big difference when they make some noise."

King's Lynn have booked David Howe as a guest for injured skipper Tomas Topinka who has a broken leg. Howe scored well when Scunthorpe came to town in the Premier Trophy. They will also operate the rider replacement facility for shoulder injury victim Joe Haines.

Tigers have once again switched the riding order in a bid to find the right combination after an inconsistent series of results.

SHEFFIELD: Ricky Ashworth, Hugh Skidmore, Josh Auty, Josef Franc, Richard Hall, Paul Cooper, Arlo Bugeja.

KING'S LYNN: David Howe, Joe Haines R/R, Kozza Smith, Linus Eklof, Kevin Doolan, Darren Mallett, Casper Wortmann.
