SHEFFIELD Tigers are still awaiting an accurate medical report on Ricky Ashworth after his crash at Birmingham on Sunday.

Ashworth suffered a wrist injury in the opening race and took no further part in the 59-36 Premier Trophy defeat.

The club can confirm they have booked Workington's Danish star Peter Kildemand as a guest for the injured Josf Franc in Thursday's Premier League meeting with Birmingham at Owlerton.

Club co-boss David Hoggart said: "Pepe is still struggling with his shoulder and has been wearing a sling over the past week. Thursday is too soon for him so we've gone for the lad from Workington.

"Ricky's wrist was badly swollen last night and until that goes down we cannot get a more accurate diagnosis of the injury. Naturally we keep our fingers crossed it's nothing series and we will provide another update when we get it."
