PREMIER LEAGUE FOURS LINE-UPS

Tuesday July 27, 2010
EIGHT top Premier League clubs will do battle for the prestigious Premier League Four Team Tournament title at Peterborough next month.

The field is now known for the fourth in the Super 7even series of events which takes place at the East of England Showground on Sunday, August 15 (2.15).

Newcastle and Birmingham will meet in Group 1 in a repeat of the Premier Trophy Final alongside Sheffield and Berwick.

And in Group 2 Premier League title favourites Edinburgh will face Rye House, Scunthorpe and Somerset.

There's also plenty of interest for Peterborough fans with 2006 Panthers hero Richard Hall returning to his former track with Sheffield and David Howe also makes an emotional return to Alwalton where he started his career as a schoolboy. He represents Scunthorpe.

It promises to be a bumper day of entertainment with the parade taking place at 2.15 and the first race at 2.30pm with a bumper crowd expected with the tournament now back where it is regarded as home.

Super 7even series co-ordinator David Hoggart said: "You only have to look down this line-up to realise how tough it is to predict a winner from this meeting. It should be a very memorable afternoon."
