PAUL COOPER UPDATE

Monday August 02, 2010
SHEFFIELD Speedway skipper Paul Cooper has had a comfortable night in hospital and could be released in the near future.

Cooper suffered severe concussion and a bone fracture in a horrifying crash during a Grasstrack meeting in Kent at the weekend.

Sheffield co-promoter David Hoggart said: "Paul is in good spirits and appears to be making good progress. If he has a good few hours and perhaps another night in hospital they may look to release him."

Meanwhile get well cards can be sent to the Sheffield Speedway Office, Owlerton Stadium, Sheffield, to be passed on to the hugely popular Cooper.
